That would be like choosing which of two children should live. The choice is very tough.
Father Ted is probably better because the humour is more accessible I guess. Some people would be put off by how dark League of Gentlemen is I guess.
Also Ted has the small and far away joke which was about the funniest thing ever. Then again League has Pops with his Maverick bars... Such a tough choice...
Yeah- Ted because it is more accessible to a larger audience. But it is close.

League of gentleman!!!???.
Why??, I must admit, that at first channel hopping, L/O/G??, No way But appreciating, good clever writing, new ideas and may-be the due to the fact that its well acted .
Father Ted?? shes try ed it on me (watching),but not for me.
There again, Just- for- Laughs, Sat-night,to me great, others would say rubbish
