A couple of ways to approach this.
One is to make a simple list of 4 different speeds that a processor could run at.
eg. 500MHz, 1GHz, 2GHz and 3GHz
Another way to look at this would be to list 4 different types of processor, their roles and their speeds.
eg.
Intel Pentium based general purpose personal computer at 3GHz
Modern smartphone processor at 400MHz (touch screen phone)
XBox processor at 733MHz (game system)
Ancient Sinclair computer at 4MHz (early home computer)
A different way to do this would be to examine 4 different parts of a processor or computer system and the different speeds they run at.
for example in a standard PC you could list
The processor clock speed
The Front Side Bus speed (the speed that the processor connects to the chips that interface to various other buses)
The memory speed
The Peripheral speed (such as the AGP interface to graphics cards or the PCI bus interface to the other cards in the computer)
The hard drive bus speed (IDE or SATA)
as its homework i'll let you look up the speeds

Yes, processors has various features intergrated into them but being basic about it yes , a pentium 4 has a single core rated at 3.0 ghz while a i7 is a quad core each of the 4 cores have a rating of 3.0ghz with a tolerance of about 10% the speed between the two the p4 is slower while the i7 is almost twice the speed as one of my buds said 4 times the speed which is kind of hard to believe

My first computer was 4Mhz, my second 12Mhz, my third 35Mhz and my current is 3800MHz
The 12Mhz had a switch to slow it down to 4Mhz so old DOS games would run on it.

:You can go from 1.0 to 3.8 MHz and increment by .1 starting with 1.0 MHz. You can then choose any 4 you want.
