You should go shopping with both your friends and with your mom it doesnt really matter. If you are willing to spend a lot of money at Victoria's secret then go a head you can buy them at department stores too no one will know the difference. You can wear a thong if you feel comfortable in them and dont want panty lines showing through your clothes. No one i know trys underwear on in the store but people still might so i suggest to wash new underwear before wearing them.

hey! I'm 13, too. Anyway, you can wear any type of underwear you want. As long as it is comfy. Personally, my mom tells that wearing a thong while wearing pads is much more better! (I know...weird. lol!) Also, I go to Victoria's secret. They are just underwear. Now, alot of girls from our age and up are going there, and not just adults. It's mostly teens now. And , you can cgoose who goes with you. I would personally say to go with your mom because if your mom is like mine, she'll tell you which ones are good or not. Also, going with your friends to buy underwear? They might pressure you...so, I say your mom, OR even go alone if you want! AND, you CAN try it in stores, but I would say to wear the underwear OVER your old underwear! OR, I say bring some toilet paper, and put them where your you-know-what is, so that no infection or bacteria from others come there. If there is like a papaer there already, still put the toilet paper there, and wash it before you wear it for real! GOOD LUCK!

P.S- I would say that "Boy shorts" are REALLY uncomfortable!!!!

No, you don't try on underwear in stores; that would be a bit unsanitary. I just purchase what size I think will fit, and if it doesn't fit, I return it. You can usually check and see what your previous size is; it's usually printed somewhere in the label on your undies.
You can buy your underwear with your mom or with your friends; both options are OK, it's just a matter of what you and your mom are comfortable with. Department stores are a great place to purchase stuff like that; in my opinion you are a bit too young for Victoria's Secret (they have more lacy grown up things). Honestly, thongs are a bit uncomfortable. Bikinis and boyshorts still look nice, but they are more comfy. Don't forget; you can ask your mom all these questions and find out what she thinks.
Hope this helps...

You can buy your underwear with your friends and you can buy them with your mom. Victoria secret is kind of expensive for underwear but if you see some that are on clearance then yeah, also department stores have a lot of cute and cheap underwear. I didn't like to wear thongs when I was your age because they felt uncomfortable and also I believed that 13 was to young to wear thongs. They do have some bikini cut, low rise, or boy shorts that are cute and sexy to wear for your age. No, you don't try on underwear in a store but you can try on bras.
P.S make sure when you buy your underwear that you wash then before wearing.

you definately dont have to worry about the friends thing- underwear shopping with your mom is just fine. victorias secret regular underwear are kind of weird and not so cute so id suggest the pink! ones if youre going to go that route. it all depends on which ones fit you best. department stores will always have a wide variety of fits that will look cute. i think ur a little young to wear a thong- especially since you always have that risk of a whale-tail out the back of your jeans. and no- you should probably take the underwear home and try it on unless it has one of those plastic liners on the inside :]

1. if your still comfortable buyin your underwear with your mom. go ahead. theyres nothin wrong with it. (especially since chances are shell be payin for them)
2. if your with your friends and they happen to decide they want to go get some underwear, go ahead, thats fine too. its a fun thing to do with your friends.
3. buy them where ever u want to. victorias secret is more expensive but if u are willin to spend the extra money. go ahead. but u dont have to wear VS. there are just as cute ones in department stores for half the price.
4. if your mom is ok with you wearin a thong. go ahead if your comfotable with them. some girls dont like them, some do. if u dont want to worry about pantylines or wedgies in certain clothes, id recommend them. and yes, make sure they dont show. and i wouldnt wear a thong with short skirts if u can avoid it. u never know what could happen. also, it gets a little breezy ;)
5. yes, u should try bras on in stores just because different styles fit differently, and u should put your shirt on over them to see what it looks like if youd wear them on a regular day. but dont ever try thongs or panties on. thats discusting and very unsanitary. you dont know what you could catch.
6. theyre not weird questions at all. i wondered the same thing when i was your age. have fun shoppin!

They aren't weird questions. :) You are 13 I would say you can go with your Mom or your friends. If you need underwear go with your Mom she has the cash. Plus you are 13 you are only going to be home for 5 more short years. Enjoy your Mom while you are home. I know she can be annoying (TRUST ME!!) but she loves you ad she would also enjoy going with you. If you are just out in the mall browsing with your friends that is okay too. I get my underwear at VS and department stores. Whatever works for me at the time. VS is nice and I have at leas 8 to 10 pairs of their panties but they are expensive and the department stores are just as good.
I do try on underwear over my own underwear. I want to make sure they fit right and don't ride up my booty. :)
Have fun shopping!!!!

you can still shop with your mom, i did when i was 13. and you can shop wherever you want, i prefer victoria's secret but you dont have to shop there. and i dont really like thongs they arent very comfortable and not necessary unless you are wearing a skirt or dress or something where you have a visible pantyline. and no i dont try on underwear in the store, that is gross.. what if you decide not to get them and then someone else does after you tried them on.. yuck. you should just know your size.
hope this helps!

I'm just older than you, but not too much. You can go with either, it depends on how comfortable you are. I'd say with mom, even if it's embarassing. Some places you can try underwear on, if they have the paper lining thingy on them. But if I try them then I just put them on over top of my normal underwear. Thongs are okay, they help if you are wearing dress pants (like i do) or tighter-than-usual jeans. They aren't uncomfortable after a while.
PS; nobody can really 'judge' you by your underwear if you don't talk about it. You shouldn't need to discuss underclothing with your buds too often.

I'm your age so I know...Victorias Secret Pink room ones are perfect, just regular kinds that are cute. Nothing like 'sexy' , just simple and young. And i dont think that you need a thong yet, those are pretty gross and they have new seamless panties at Vikki's Secret now. The pink room has the cutest stuff!
And me and my friends go shopping there with no problems. If you are mature, your shopping experience will be just as ordinaty as jeans shopping. Everyone wears underwear, everyone has to go underwear shopping weather they like it or not! Just choose if you want to go with your mom or your friends!! Or both!
When trying on undies, just put them on up to yourself in the mirror and view every aspect of them seeing if they will fit you right. Assume that they will fit similarly to how they look there :) Happy shopping!
