When I went to my pediatrician from age 12-18, she would always do the normal stuff, including breast cancer checks. But I would keep my underwear on and then at the very end, she would just pull it from my body, take a quick peek, and then let it snap back. What was the point of that? To make sure my pubic hair hadn't fallen off?

Yeah, you know what, mine did that to me too. Is it weird that I felt sort of violated by it? I mean, there was absolutely no point in doing it. If I wanted someone to look down there, I would go to a gyno. Maybe it's to make sure we're not growing mold or something. Next time I go, I gonna pull all my pubic hair out and see her reaction. That should be fun.
