Pets that don't smell...betta fish? But since you have a cat so I dun think thats a good idea and a betta fish is the only one I can think of that you can put in your room, not much of a fuss to take care of and doesn't smell.

Even though cats like to eat them,try a fish, they dont usually stink for a long time and there easy to take care of. Just make sure you get a tank with a top..that your cat cant get into.

Chinchillas. They may be hard to find, they don't smell though, the cat might want him. Chinchillas also are endangered so you would save a life (They are on most fur coats, chinchillas)!

Chinchillas are not supposed to smell. As far as getting along with your cat,that is up to you , you have to teach your cat the word NO when it gets to rough with it.

Well, i have a tarantula.....very easy to take care of, no smell, and i have three cats, not once have they tried to bother it.

Gerbils drink and urinate very little, but they might be too tempting for a cat!
