He wanted PEACE!

He wanted that EVERYONE be treated with simple, human respect.

He wanted that EVERYONE be given the entitlement of goodness and worth.

He wanted RIGHT and JUST things.

I don't know if the man gave the proper credit to our Lord Jesus for all he had and did, but he should have, but his actions bespoke of what JESUS first taught and did whene he was here and persecuted and killed for.

Martin Luther King Jr. tried to do GOOD things for everyone, and he was killed for his effort. I look upon him as a good man. A man of his word. A man of conviction. A man of courage. A man to be respected for trying to do GOOD things in this world.

Google search for his "I have a dream speach". A very moving speech and probably one of his most famous. He dreamed that one day that all men would live together with equality and dignity and that it wouldn't be considered unusual but the norm.A wonderful and thoughtful piece.Look it up, you won't regret it and maybe it will alter how you look at your fellow man.

a dream that a black man can walk hand in hand with a white man and no one will make judgements based upon the color of their skin (way different than what we find today....as african americans become empowered they are taking on the prejudiced behavior of the white man they despise--seems kind of convoluted, doesn't it? --but you know what they say, the pendulum has to swing WAY over to the other side before it can finally rest in the middle)
