My favourite was the nickname given to Princess Anne's arsehole first husband, Mark Phillips, when he was at Sandhurst.
They called him Foggy. Because he was thick and wet.

This is going to sound quite wrong, but life is life, so here goes. When I was 21 and got engaged, my step brother chose that moment to confess that he was deeply in love with me. To be honest, I wasn't expecting it, it was so far out of left field. I couldn't talk to him and here I am, two years later, and I've barely shared ten e-mails with him. It makes me sad because he was a great friend, but I always saw him as a brother, and he didn't see me as a sister. It couldn't be helped. And poor Eddie. He obviously took this whole thing quite personally...!

A co-worker of mine calls his best friend Nature Boy, which is not a crazy nickname but the reason behind it is hilarious. They were hiking in the woods one day and his friend lost his footing and was stumbling uncontrollably down a hill. As my co-worker says, his friend was finally able to grab hold of a tree and held onto it like it was his mama.
Thus, Nature Boy.

One of the footballers that used to play in my ex's team was called 'Paddle'... 'cause he ran like he was paddling a canoe dead fast!
Went to a fancy dress party once as 'Echo and The Bunnygirls'. I am sure you can imagine the outfits. People still call me 'Echo' now!

We call one of our friends Fudge,he's always doing things wrong. Like fitting shelves that fall down, electrics that blow, bumping his car losing his wallet.I could go on the list is endless, there is something every week!
Fudge gets it's name from a "bungled "batch of caramels way back in 1886.,so it's for all the things he bungles up.

We had a friend called stretch because he was tall and skinny. When he pissed us off we called him string.
We also had a friend we called TH (short for Turtle Head) because that's exactly what he looked like!
