In the bottom most layer of time line create a rectangle with round edge, Which covers the entire canvas(sides matching the canvas side), Fill it with whatever color you actually want for the background of your flash movie. Remember to add empty frames till the end of your movie for this background layer.

Second option could be to draw a empty round edge rectangle (without solid fill) and rest of the steps remain the same as above.

Technically no, but you could put rounded corners in the corners of your flash movie that are the same color as the background of your web page.

You could also try searching Google for "javascript rounded corners" and you will find a few scripts that will round the corners of any block element on the page. I am not sure if they will work on a Flash object though, or at least not in all browsers, because the Flash movie itself is not part of the web page but is rendered separately by the plugin. The layout engine of the browser may not support manipulating the plugin window in such a way.

you could import Photoshop CS3 information to Flash CS3, yet you wont keep the slices. Flash is in certainty the whole opposite to Photoshop; it bargains with vector photographs, the place as Photoshop bargains with raster (pixel) photographs. you could export all your slices to split image information, jpg's, and import them into Flash and manage them back.
