so you notice her more....so you can see her more as an indivudual child rather then another person in the sea of people, that way when you saw her in the large pile of dead bodies it made you think more about how all of these people had families, etc...to see that that's the little kid that was running down the street just a few days before, and now she's been killed....not that you wouldnt realize all the dead bodies were individual people with families, but it just strikes a little harder this way..

She appears a few times in the movie. It's a way to distinguish her so your eye notices her the way Schindler's does.

oh aha i watched that movie last yr in english while we were learning about the hollicaust... umm i guess just for symbolism, just to make her noticed
