it's more than possible and i think it's likely.

we are too divided as a nation at the moment to continue in this vein. either we'll be attacked by someone like Iran, attacked by terrorists again, or we'll be fighting each other over the external threats to our nation and what to do/not do about it.

just look around here at how divided the thinking goes on current events.

War has happened here. It occurred on 9-11. The in roads to a American war are also underway. The FBI has captured several splinter cells here already as well as the in roads for information and financial resources. If we continue to live under the idea that we are not at War very serious consequences could befall us.
We, are having our own laws and rights used against us. The "bad Guys" understand our system and know how to manipulate our own laws to benefit their plans. We need to realize this and address it as quickly as possible.
We allowed things to get out control back in the 80's when we were attacked on foreign soil. We gave no, or half heart reprisals against people who attacked our service members over seas. We did nothing about the embassies, the Cole, La Belles in Berlin, and on and on. So yes it is very possible that some thing bigger then 9-11 could and may occur here.

in 20 years I do say war, but on Americas soil I dont believe. You cant hardly pull off any terror attacks in the U.S, how youre going to able to bring a whole army into americas soil. Thats a big
no-no, theres too many troops and our army is too big for that. But I do see the possibility of terror attacks in the U.S, way before 20 years from now. Probably in the next few months.

Sure - all that needs to happen is a flood of illegal terrorists across our borders instead of "peace loving illegals immigrants".

Have you ever seen those media reports of the illegal immigrants dashing across the border ?
The media is there to make sure the border guards are too hard on the illegals.
Just think if those same people were all terrorists carrying AKs and gunning down people sitting at the border in cars. The media would have a field day and flood the airways with graph pictures for days while slamming the border guards for being lack and to easy on illegals ................

The war is already here. Our porous border with Mexico has already allowed the El-Salvadoran and other South American gangs into this country. And meanwhile all of our National Guardsmen are fighting the wrong "them"...when they should be here protecting the nation.

Al-Quaeda(sp?) is a threat...but it is more of a daily threat to the fabric of this nation than the drug gangs operating more or less freely in this nation?

Only if democrats get tired of arguing and name-calling and start eliminating their opponents by assassination like the 3rd world despots they admire.

Republicans are fully willing to work together. They demonstrated that countless times over the last 6 years, both in Congress and in the White house.

What do you see with Democrats?

I hate Bush!
Impeach Bush!
We're losing the war!
Retreat!
Bush is a liar!
Repbulicans stole the election!
Republicans are evil!
Neocons are racists!
Conservatives are bigots!

This kind of hatred has no place in public office, and anyone who expresses this day after day is unworthy of serving in the United States of America as a public figure.

We're better than that.

If the Gov/Corps keep up with the civil unreset I could see a civil war on US soil within 10 years. It will probably be the shortest civil war in the history of earth were everyone who doesnt agree with the Gov gets tagged with nanobots that make them agree and the rest get tagged later... Thats just how I see it.

If we don't watch out borders more carefully and if we go into this next presidential election voting Democrat just out of rebellion and to put a president in that will be the first, regardless of their qualifications and platform... yes I see it happening.
