was it in a construction zone ? or what they consider a construction zone ? because usually fines are doubled in a zone like that. so that would make a 355 dollar ticket 710. which sucks.. but there is no such thing as a "cheap" ticket anymore

There should be a phone number that you can call on that ticket and ask for the person in charge of that department. Have them explain why it costs so much? I think that they must have made a mistake. That is definitely an outrageous amount. You should have just got a warning ticket.

if i were you id find out why the ticket is so high i have never heard of one being that high over a turn before,id at least have to call the court House and find out,that's way to much,,its good that's the only thing they got you for that time,,good luck i hope you find out.

alot of towns use traffic tickets as a money making scheme -- a big rip off -- write to your political leaders to complain -- if enough people do maybe things will change
