Why do you think people care more about football then the fact that lobbyist eliminate democracy?

Sadly it has always been the same thing. Sports are more important than politics.

Sadly if we look at all the ancient cultures, those that had any type of government by the people, fell into ruin because the people became more involved in sports than running the country. It may take a long time. Rome lasted 400 years, but eventually when sport is more important than government, that nation dies. Is the USA next??
