Yes I do. And I want to prove it too. I want to prove that when God bring two people together that were meant to be together, that it wasn't a sick joke on his part. If this works out, I will be forever thankful. : )

That's an interesting one, It's a beautiful cliche' and one that warms the heart.

I believe 100% that true love will last a lifetime, though the term eternal love to me is something tied in with the chemistry between 2 people.

Chemistry being the perfect term for the attraction of the people as if we are a make up of kinetic energy then certain ions will be attracted to one another, hence when we are gone from this lonely planet may we truly spend eternity bonded as one ? I like to think so because if this is the case I am looking forward to the herafter so I can be intimately enmeshed with my true love forever.

It lasts as long as you do. Whether you stay together might be up for grabs.

And unless you die in each other's arms, one of you will always leave the other, either both walking away or the very worst way to separate.

In Christianity (my faith, I know it better than any other so that's the one I talk about) people don't stay married in Heaven. My wife and I made a pact that we would ask God for a dispensation on that though.

all love is forever. It's not like "oops, I fell out of love"

If someone "falls out of love" well then it's a safe bet that they were confusing infatuation with love in the first place. I can't see how, the two are so different.

Yes.

True love may shift into different realms or forms of expression. . . yet, I'd venture to say...that even a love that was experienced and one is no longer with that person (they broke up) that a sense of love for that person is still there, in some form, forever.
