Speak to an adult you can trust, either your parents or one of your teachers. They will be sympathetic and want to help you and your friend. Try speaking to your friend again. If she wants help, you could go to a teacher together, or she could try childline 0800 11 11.
You really need help though, you are too young to deal with this on your own. and remember, everyone who answered your question will be thinking about you and your friend. GOOD LUCK

i am quite concrened about ur friend get her 2 call childline. as 4 u invite ur friend for a sleepover and talk about things. If she asks u 2 go round there suggest going somewhere else. But dont loose ur friend she need u

She may be telling the truth or just telling tall tales to get attention. If she is being abused by her mom you need to talk to a teacher in confidence. And they can talk to someone so they can monitor your friend. No matter what just be a good friend I think she needs one.

you must tell your mum, a teacher or ring childline on 0800 1111 also get your friend to do the same, obv not her mum but maybe an aunty or a teacher or get her to ring childline from school, the teachers will help i promise.
