WOW! I havent laughed so hard in a long time, the answers youre gettin are hilarious. I am a professional plumber/drain cleaner, and have been for a decade. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER put draino in your pipes, even though it says right on the label "safe on pipes" ITS NOT! and what in the world is baking soda and vinegar gonna do besides fizz and leave a pasty residue in your pipes worsening your clog. That has to be one of the oldest wives tales still out there. The plunger idea is close to the best one there. Only advice is to take off your overflow plate, and fill the hole there with a wet wash cloth. that will block the air from escaping while your trying to "plunge". Its pointless to use a plunger on a drain with a wide open vent just above it, all it does is push air out the hole. hope this helps V.C.

If you have a stopper in the tub, (twist and drop style) just unscrew it and using a pair of needle nose pliars, you can clean the drain out. it is usually just hair built up on the cross section under the stopper.
I do maintenance and all I use is needle nose , a pair of channel lock pliars to unscrew the stopper and some times a small plunger to work the stuff through that might be built up further down- covering the upper vent hole if you do that though.

Don't tell anyone I told you this, but use the toilet plunger. Run some water in the tub. and plunge it just like you would the toilet. You will either suck all the hair and soap into the tub, or it will break loose and drain away. After-wards Boil a gallon of water and pour it down the drain.

You can try some Clorox. I've never tried it myself but i hear that it will work. Pour in at night before you go to sleep and leave overnight and it should clear it up or make it better till you can get some drano

Put a couple of tablespoons of baking soda in the drain, followed by a cup of white vinegar. This will bubble like crazy and when done bubbling, run hot water behind it. You may have to do this a couple of times, but it should work.

this is a toughie.....draino is a plumbers nightmare........it makes a jello like plug...somewhere down the pipe,,lines some of the other cleaners are just as bad...............some should never be mixed because they could have chemical; reactions
this isn't fixing the problem
get a piece of wire and unclog the hair from the drain ...............the plug should lift and turn easily..................what could you have down there............soap bar pieces..........pieces of what..wash cloths....hair ..a rubber duck..?............usually a coat hanger will set the removal of anything..........i had a nickel...in one.....................so you never know.....................you can also fill the tub half full and use a toilet plunger...to shake things up..................get a snake fish / tool as a last resort...................if its winter...you could have ice..................be thank ful its not yr toilet............a bath...well it could wait.....but a potty break.....well...how far to the neighbors..?
