Someone you know. Not some celebrity with gobs of money, someone up close and personal. And why do they inspire you?

My mom deffinitly is my MAIN inspiration she has had to endure soooo much in her life and yet she still manages to put up with me and my siblings she is a super strong women and shes just plain amazing i love her to death

good question! I honestly must say, I'm trying to find that person. I guess it's someone who bellieves in themselves despite the rude insultsand comments. I believe in those who are independent, God-fearing, and all-rounder: good in everything they do. Someone smart, that doesn't show-off and excepts the fact that no one is perfect, even though they're like the next best thing. The kind of people who LEAD, a positive leader. Someone who knows how to be funny, but not go too extreme. Someone who knows what to say to make you feel good about yourself without embellishing the truth. Someone who doesn't focus on their looks every 5 seconds, because they believe real beauty is in the inside. Someone who can make a GOOD name of themselves. A person who can take an insult to make them STRONGER, and not coward down. Someone with a good comeback, that doesn't offend anyone.

My lover, the most amazing person I've ever met; kind, good, smart, talented, a dreamer and an artist.
And "famous" people who inspire me are Kahlil Gibran, Marcel Proust, Franz Kafka.

My mother - she is one of the most caring and kind persons that I have ever come across. She does her best to help individuals and even when she's facing tough times she always seems to go on and never give up. Every time I feel down on weak I remember her strength and her faith in the smallest things :)

It's a certain australian. Or it used to be. Now I inspire myself. I find inspiration in my subconscious, in my dreams, in a few of my thoughts, and in the environment around me. People who do great things inspire me. The artists, musicians, people with divine physical prowess, people who are really good at what they do basically. The Wildcatters. People that make you say "Wow" in awe or amazement. People with high standards for themselves. They help inspire me to do better in what I do myself.

pEOPLE WHO OVERCOME GREAT ODDS INSPIRE ME. nO PARTICULAR PERSON. Also, people who escape horrible conditions through shear determination. I especially would cheer for days for a child that escapes a kidnapper and abuser. These are the people that really count, not the Paris Hiltons of this world.
