I personally have tried alot of different tampons and have found O.B. to be the best tampon. They don't have applicators so you put them in with your finger to find the most comfortable position for you. Not all woman are the same and an applicator does not know this! They come in a variety of sizes for your flow. I have never had leaks with this tampon either. My eldest daughter felt so comfortable with this tampon she started using them the first time she started her period. Hope you find what is comfortable for you, and never wear a tampon for more than 8 hours.

I have found the directions provided in the tampon boxes very useful. Also, it's important to stay relaxed when inserting them. Choose the right kind for your flow that day (light, heavy, etc). Be sure to change them every 4-6 hours!!! I actually use a Diva Cup...www.divacup.com. It's pretty freaky at first and not easy to use, but it's more economical than buying tampons all the time and you can wear it up to 12 hours at a time. But anyway, if you get the hang of tampons but dont like them, that's another option.

I am aware that women can have problems using these. Better stick with the pad as it still allows secretions that should leave! It is documented and if you insist, you should wear them sparingly. Your whole body needs to breathe or have some air and movement allows some air, even with a pad. A tampon will keep all the stuff that your body wants to get rid of asap! God bless. Earl

TAMPONS CAUSES TOXIC SHOCK SYNDROME IT SHOULD BE A WARNING LABEL ON THE BOX ABOUT THIS.BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR TAMPON EVERY 3 TO 5 HOURS,THEY ARE NOW SAFE IF ITS USE CORRECTLY.NEVER CHOOSE A TAMPON WITH MORE ABSORBENCY THAT YOU NEED.SCENTED TAMPONS ARE SOMETIMES IRRATING TO THE VAGINA.TOWARD THE END OF YOUR CYCLE USE A PAD OR SMALLER TAMPON TO AVOID PAIN.BUT YOU SHOULD CHOOSE THE BEST HEALTH AND COMFORT THAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU.

Yeah, get the organic kind. Regular tampons have dioxins and you want to prevent endometriosis.

Be sure to change regularly to avoid the build up of bacteria- use the correct one according to your flow- read the pamphlet about Toxic Shock Syndrome (I recommend this so you know what to do to avoid problems)

Plastic applicators are much more comfortable to put in than cardboard ones. Don't use a higher flow than you need and try not to wear one constantly during your period--give your body a break (maybe at night).

Make sure you are using the correct size for your flow and get them up in far enough or you will feel it.
