From your details, its most likely a new-born mouse... since its eyes are not opened yet...

Try to feed him with warm milk, just as long as its not cold maybe once every 4-6 hours... cause its still young..

Keep an eye on it always.. if you feel you cant take care of it and have no experience, best to send it to somewhere where they can take care and handle small animals... cause who knows if they're sick or anything..

Hope it helps...

It's very hard to keep a baby mouse alive. Don't be upset if it passes on.

Keep the mouse away from drafts and other animals. It sounds about three days old. Put a heating pad, or a bag of hot water covered in a towel under the baby in a box. Feed it every two hours;;no exceptions, but be careful and only feed it a teaspoon or two;;they will eat till they die. Don't handle it too much inless your hands are warm, and sanitary. Wash it's bottom with a warm, damp cotton swab or cotton ball. Good luck! Inform me on how it goes!

Also;;where did you find it?

I dont think I am going to be much help but... I found like 3 mice in my basement. They were all pink... I took them to a vet becasue I didnt want to see an animal die and they told me to try and keep them warm and just feed them with an eyedropper... I know that doesnt tell you how much to feed them... They also told me to take a wet warm cotton ball and wipe their rear end so that they can go to the bathroom.. to make up for the mother not being there to lick them.. Most died within a few days but one lived for 1 week... Also, I bred hamsters... They would start getting their fur around 1 -2 weeks....

You can feed the mouse KMR *it is a kitten formula* it needs to be fed every 2 hours and you will need to wipe its bottom with a warm damp napkin to make it go to the bathroom. Good Luck!

How cute! He's probably about a week or less, ask a vet what kind of milk to feed a mouse (I have never done that!) but I know you can feed him with a clean eyedropper. (You'll need to disinfect it after every feed)

Sounds almost newborn.Probably only a day or two old. You can always try and help. Be prepared though that the little guy might not make it without his mother.
