Alright. I have about 8 labs due tommorow. I have been out a lot because of the flu, and what is suspected to be Kolidus. I have one lab I don't understand, and need help. It's from books, but I'd like to know if anyone knows it off hand.

1. Changes in elevation of the crust at places where bench marks were set up in the past.

2. Structures, such as bench marks and buildings, have shifted.

3. In some places, sedimentary rock, known to form under water, is found at high elevations.

4. In some places, layers of sedimentary rock are not flat, but rather tilted, folded, or broken.

5. Preserved remains of sea life in rocks found at high elevations.

6. The formation of geosynclines {shallow basins} indicate the crust seems to sink as sediment builds up.

That's half the sheet;;the other half I got. What needs to be done is to identify the evidence that indicates that the earth's crust moved, or is moving.

Major help needed, please!

1. Changes in elevation of the crust at places where bench marks were set up in the past.
Earth quakes shifting land on fault lines, crust rebounding or sinking from loss of weight (soil erosion, ice melting) or gain (building up of delta)

2. Structures, such as bench marks and buildings, have shifted.
Side ways shifting on fault lines
3. In some places, sedimentary rock, known to form under water, is found at high elevations.
Evidence of crustal raising by sea floor lifting from plates going under raised plate.
4. In some places, layers of sedimentary rock are not flat, but rather tilted, folded, or broken.
When plate passes under another, depending on the movement, besides lifting, there may be scrunching with folding of material.
5. Preserved remains of sea life in rocks found at high elevations.
Same as 3.
6. The formation of geosynclines {shallow basins} indicate the crust seems to sink as sediment builds up.
Crust is depressed as weight, particularly from deltas of rivers.
