God I don't agree with that. So because Doctors say you can't you all guys will believe them?? How naive you guys are:

Kiss a partner with a major case of gingivitis(bleeding gums) and tell me after long kissing times you can't catch AIDS?? Of course you can. Even with SALIVA you can but the cases are extremely rare the probabilities exist of course. The doctors don't want to panic the population that is why they are lying.

Joe.

Go to the doctor if you or she had an ulser or anything yes there is a chance you could have it. Go get tersted it is so much better to know 100% wether your infected or not. Dont be imbarrased doctors deal with hundreds of aids patients DAILY! Be smart go get a check up

You won't contract AIDS by saliva, but if she had an open sore in her mouth, you might have. Take an STD test just to make sure. They are confidental. You should also talk to your parents if you haven't already. Good luck!

You can't get AIDS from kissing; saliva does not transmit the virus.

In the unlikely event that one of you had the virus, and you both had bleeding, open sores in your mouth, then it could be transmitted. It's transmitted through blood and sex.

The only danger of "wet" kissing is that if you had a cut in your mouth, and if she had a cut in her mouth, there's a minor possibility of transmitting AIDs and other STD's. It's a pretty low risk, as far as I understand.

Its very very very rare to catch AIDS from mouth to mouth contact. Other STDs can be transmitted that way though... might want to be more worried about those..

hiv transmitted with open wounds or body secretion, but know it the theory and cilincal are too diferent ...have a simple test is a best way to give up it

ok.....first of all, you don't *catch aids*, you get the virus, HIV, that causes aids, and unless you both had cuts on your lips or in yours mouth and they touched, then no, you can not get HIV from kissing.

HIV transmission can occur when blood, semen (***), pre-seminal fluid (pre-***), vaginal fluid, or breast milk from an infected person enters the body of an uninfected person.

These are the most common ways that HIV is transmitted from one person to another:

-by having sex (anal, vaginal, or oral) with an HIV-infected person;
-by sharing needles or injection equipment with an injection drug user who is infected with HIV; or
-from HIV-infected women to their babies before or during birth, or
-through breast-feeding after birth

no u can't,chances are remote unless any of u had cuts in there, aids virus has not been detected in saliva as yet,but for your confidence no harm in getting tested for it.

no, there has only been one recorded case of mouth-to-mouth passing of aids.

People deep kissed until they brought blood. kinda hard to imagine, but they did it.

so, your safe.
