Well, if you can only visit one theme park and one water park, I recommend EPCOT and Blizzard Beach.
EPCOT is just an amazing park, and my personal favorite. If you love thrills, be sure to ride Mission Space, Soarin', Test Track and Maelstrom (Norway Pavilion). But the best part about EPCOT is their countries at the world showcase. Be sure to ask the cast members questions about their country and culture! Every single cast member inside a country at EPCOT is actually from there!
Blizzard Beach is the best water park for thrill seekers. They have one of the nation's tallest free-fall waterslides, Summit Plummit. It's fun, but if you are really tiny and thin, I'll warn you, it may hurt. I was so thin the last time I went that I literally hydro-plained on the water, casuing my whole back to be red. It wasn't too fun for me, but all of my friends had a great time!
I recommended Blizzard over Typhoon because Blizzard, overall, has more slides. Typhoon does have a huge wave pool, the Crush n' Gusher slide and Shark Reef, but otherwise, its a laid back water park.
The Disney Studios doesn't have a whole lot. They are known for Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster - two amazing rides. But besides that, there isn't a whole lot more to see. I would know, I worked there. Visit this park only if you have a park hopper and can go on the two rides I mentioned and then visit another park.

You can go to all of them you know. Here are the different Disney World sections. Not parks. Well, they're parks but they're in one BIG park. Epcot, MGM studios, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and Magic Kingdom. ALL of them have GREAT thrills! Trust me! I'm 11 years old. And I KNOW thrills! Go 2 this link to find the ticket prices. And I suggest you choose Park hopper. Cuz then, you can go 2 all of the parks...

Hurry up! Go 2 it! Oh wait, you probably already did. But anyway, Wet n' Wild is pretty cool 2.But I would suggest Either Blizzard Beach or Trphoon Lagoon. If you wanna check out some other cool thrill rides, go to this link...

It's the teen experience. SO COOL! Ok, cool. Have fun. And I hope I helped.

I don't know anything about Wet n' Wild but I hope this info will help.
Typhoon Lagoon - closed for annual Refurbishment January 7 - March 17, 2007
As far as Epcot or MGM. I would think that being 13 that you would probably like Star Wars, Stunt Show, Indiana Jones Etc.
The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster in Disney-MGM Studios will be closed for refurbishment January 2 through January 21, and will reopen Monday, January 22, 2007.
Rock 'n Roller Coaster is opening again tomorrow so that should be fine. You really need to look at all that the parks have to offer and see which one you want most. The best web-site I can send you to is www.allearsnet.com. It will list all of the info about each park including rides and restaurants.
If you want to post more questions you could ask each of us which ride is our favorite of all of the parks. What are your interests?
It would probably be best if you could get a park hopper. That way you could visit two or more of the parks. Are you only going for one day?
Here are some more closing and refurbishments.
MGM
Lights Motors Action Extreme Stunt Show will be dark January 31 and February 1.
Epcot
Turtle Talk with Crush at the Seas with Nemo and Friends will be closed for January 29, 2007, through February 16.
Magic Kingdom
Liberty Square Riverboat - will be closed for refurbishment from February 27 throught March 1
Splash Mountain will close for refurbishment from January 2 through January 27.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh will be close for refurbishment from January 28 - February 11.
Tomorrowland Indy Speedway - will be closed for refurbishment from January 31 - February 15.
Don't worry, What ever you choose you will have a great time.

I would go to Epcot =] Epcot is the park most designed for teenagers & adults. At epcot, there are looots of big fun rides, lots of cool museum-exhibit-like attractions, and they have the world showcase, where they have pavillions from a handful of the world's countries. So you can eat Japanese food or French food or all that fun stuff. And there's tons of awesome scenery and a firework show over the lake at the world showcase at night. Some reasons you might not want to visit the other parks: Magic Kingdom : Really colorful & aimed toward younger children. Fun, but not AS fun I would say. Lots of long lines & disney-related shopping. Epcot has a lot of interesting international shopping areas. Hollywood Studios : Sort of strays away from some of the disney concepts of other parks. This park has nice restaraunts and cool movie trivia though. Animal Kingdom : This park gets the hottest & most humid, and the sidewalks are TERRIBLE. It feels more like a nice zoo with a few rides than a disney theme park though. Epcot perfectly combines all of the things you want from a theme-park and mixes in just the right ammount of disney magic so that you get the perfect theme-park experience. I definitely recommend it!

If you love thrills, MGM is better. Epcot is great but it isn't really a thrill park. I have only been to Blizzard Beach and it was fun. It wasn't really "thrilling" though. MGM has Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. Those are the biggest "thrill" rides in Disney. Epcot also has Misson Space which is great. And no it's not that scary. I would suggest going to all of the parks.

EPCOT is the best of the theme parks and Typhoon Lagoon is the best of the water parks. Definitely check out the Walt Disney World website and look at all the attractions at the different parks. Typhoon Lagoon has one of the largest inland wave pools in the world! You'll definitely love the Crush 'n' Gusher water coaster, and at Shark Reef you can swim with small sharks and stingrays. There's also a big lazy river and a bunch of awesome water slides.
I can't wait to go back in July!

Hope I could help! Have fun!

Both blizzard beach and typhoon lagoon are good. Blizzard beach has better rides but it is at least 20 minuets to wait in line for a ride. typhoon lagoon has good rides but not great ones and the lines are very small.

TL vs. blizzard beach...
ive only been to TL, and the surf pool is AMAZING, the waves are huge, but it can get crowded.
the slides are pretty good, and the crush n gusher(water roller coaster) is good, but not if the line is too long, but its usually not cause theres 3 slides.
as for EPCOT vs. MGM.
epcot has test track(sweet) and mission space(not scary, its overhyped, but still fun)
MGM has rockn roller coaster(fun, dark, upsidedown-ness, but bumpy) and tower of terror(havent been on, but heard its good)
but if you're going to disney YOU HAVE TO GO TO ANIMAL KINGDOM AND RIDE EVEREST!! IT IS THE BEST RIDE HANDS DOWN! the line will look really long but its not, its like 30 min the most when the line is a mile long.
trust me its worth the 30 min(most rides have longer waits with shorter lines)
