because now more than ever it is based on who you know - not what you know
if you have to lie to get in then lie
do you think it is honest that someone gets something because they know someone? I have faced the same challenge since the summer. Keep pushing hard and changing your tactics regularly - research strategies on the internet. Exaggerate anything that you can do okay at - it is like being a used car salesman - you are getting your foot in the door. This is all about salesmanship and survival. Resumes cover letters and *** kissin -' yess m yess m yess m - I do anythin for ya massa - a luv it ' that helps too and has started to pay off. Don't be too proud to do anything -

In December the unemployment rate hit the lowest rate since early 2000 at 4.6%. People are saying outsourcing looses jobs. Not true. It looses basic production or entry level customer service jobs. With the money saved paying an Indian $2 per hour vs $12 an hour here in the US, companies hire more product engineers and marketing people. Also, more shipping, receiving, and warehouse jobs are created through outsourcing.
Outsourcing has also stretched the American dollar farther than ever before. CPI (a measure of inflation) has not gone over 3.5 for 16 years in a row. This makes your standard 4 percent raise more valuable year after year. Cheaper products create more waste and therefore more waste management jobs. As much as they may want, you can not outsource a garbage man.

If you make informed decisions and approach your penny stock investments with the same thoroughness that you’d use in your other investments, you too can unlock a whole lot of profit potential. Learn here https://tr.im/N425p
It’s absolutely true that penny stock investors can make very quick gains. Synutra International, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYUT) is a great example of a penny stock. This dairy-based, nutritional-products company has jumped from a little Bulletin Board operation to a billion dollar corporation. The company finally graduated from Over-the-Counter status to the NASDAQ Stock Market bringing with it 113% gains in less than two months.
This happens all the time and it’s how some of the best investors in the world became the richest investors in the world. Buying some shares for pennies on the dollar and selling at $10 or $20 is possibly the fastest way from being a hobby investor to a super investor

First of all, work on your resume and make it an excellent one to get job, which suits your interest. You should take the help of consultant to make an attractive resume. Then You should submit your resume to leading jobsite like www.monster.com, www.careerbuilder.com. Also you should consult local placement consultant in your area. In the meantime, look out for an option to work online. Although it wont pay you like full time job but you can make extra cash in your spare time. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit
http://ommc.blogspot.com
I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)

Need more information:
-What types of jobs are you applying for?
-Are you qualified for these jobs or are they just things you think you would like to do?
-What is your education level? What education level is required for these positions?
-Are you sending blind resumes to any company you can think of or are you targeting companies with actual positions to fill?
-Is your resume accurate, spelled correctly, grammatically correct?
-if you are applying in person, do you dress neatly? Do you fit the image of the people who already work there? Take a good, hard look in the mirror. Would a company want you to represent them with their customers? I used to run a music store. My long haired, tattooed rocker employees knew the most about the guitars but the "soccer mom" customers were scared to talk to them. Do you speak in slang?
-if you are submitting resumes on Monster, do you customize it to fit the job? A one size fits all resume will not work. Write a custom cover letter for each resume you submit.
Good luck

It used to be about who you know.
It's still about who you know, except there's so many more people, and we don't all have time for strong bonds.
So the people you know are less likely to even know you're looking, let alone actualyl care enough to hook a sista up! Or brother, or whatever.
Plus, all kinds of jobs do drug tests and background checks for goddarned speeding tickets, in jobs where driving is no issue. Let alone a DWI or a "prior".
Good luck!

All that outsourcing...many manufacturing and service jobs are now being done in the 3rd world by people who are getting paid a pittance, so that big business can save money and feel benevolent at the same time, while bleeding their own country white through unemployment.

yes it is hard to find a job these days, maybe you should re think your strategy or try something different altogether, depending on what you want to do, there can be alot of competition for good jobs, if you had loads of interviews, try and think what you could change, do you seem to under/overconfident? things like that, dont give up, just keep trying! Good luck

I am not sure where you reside, but move to Utah if you can. They have Job openings EVERYWHERE. They have a 2% unemployment. That is unbelievable. Don't wory, the mormons will leave you alone.
