I like men too much to ever be gay but just think women, wouldn't it be nice to have a partner that loved to shop, help you pick out your makeup, watch girlie movies etc...?

I am gay and would not choose to be if I was straight. It's a hard knock life. People ridiculing you pointing fingers ALL the time. It's not fun. You can have all the other benefits by just having a bestfriend.

No, to tell you the truth, anatomy is too important to me.
And I've known some lesbians, and I've known quite a few who really are more like guys, not into all that jazz.
So, there are no guarantees that there would be those shared interests?
Anyway, even if it were the case,
we only want what we can't have!
And one person cannot be all things to someone else.
That's what's so great about having a female friend and a man!

Sometimes I do, yeah. But not because of the reasons you list - more because all my gay friends are the coolest people ever.
I love gay poeple - I want to join the gay people. I think my dad would be dissapointed though, he's really looking forward to be a granddad, hehe.

Nah... I like making all the decisions a little too much.. that is what friends are for. But, I am bisexual (cringe, people always think you're cheap when you say that).. and I must say that not all of my girlfriends enjoyed shopping as much as I do! Plus, I don't like girlie movies and I am too opinionated... hmm.

I have no idea...that's a good question but I don't think being gay is just a way of life...they are born gay and they do what comes naturally to them just like you and I.
