because they think that it looks cute.. I think at first it was meant to make them look more feminine, because it is "cute" when the woman is smaller and petite and.. when she is shorter than the man and he doesn't bend down for the kiss she may just be trying to reach his lips!

It depends on how you feel about it. Some women shave or wax their legs because they like the way it feels and looks for them. Some don't mind that they have hair on their legs. It depends on what the woman thinks.
