I REALLY want to be a famous actress and I have absolutley NO IDEA where to start!I have taken dance classes since I was 3 and have been in 10 plays,but that is not getting me famous!Please help!

First step: Do not try so hard to be famous; try to be as good as you can. Be professional, respectful and never stop the learning process. Do not search fame; If you are good, people will notice you.
Don't try to be like those looser like Paris Hilton doing "anything" for 5 second on the news.
Being "FAMOUS" is a 50% luck and 50% talent; there are people in theater for example that are as good as Al Pacino or Nicole Kidman but they are not famous because they haven't got lucky.
Real success don't mean being followed by cameras, real succes means doing a good job, being proud of yourself and loving what you do even is the world doesn't know about it.

If fame is what you want, check out some of the other answers. You can get famous doing almost anything. If a long career in a field that you love is what you're really after, keep doing what you're doing, and don't give up. Paris Hilton is famous -- is that what you want?
Fame comes and goes like the tide; talent and dedication will feed your soul, and give you a lifetime of satisfaction.

You want to dedicate your life to your craft and wish to learn how to work from an honest place generating art as an actress? Continue down the path of self-discovery has you hone your skills, technique and talent.
Art making = honesty, just watch a Jack Nicholson movie sometime.

ok to become famous take it a step further.. like go online or something and type in auditions for movies or commercials... then if u do actually decide to do that keep up with it.. and dont stop because then once you have the experiance of being on tv then maybe u could actually be in a movie... but i dont no for sure though.. u can try it.

calla local agent and they will either give you classes or give you a list of auditions. Don't worry if you don't get the part, it is natural to audition for about 20 parts and only make 1. there are alot of people there so don't be worried. One part will open so many doors for you. Hey look at Reese Witherspoon!!! She was in a low budget film and it lead her to Legall blond which was a huge hit!!!

Act like you are trying to kill some big dignitary like the president of your country or some well known politician. The TV people will make your wishes come true in a heart beat.
