Tell me why Black women can`t work well together?

What a ignorant question. You are generalizing. One guy said that our race pumps out alot of ignorant people...what kinda self- hate issues are you dealing with man???? One girl said that all the other blacks girls give her dirty looks..have you ever stopped to realize that you get what you give, perhaps you are the one with the attitude. Um...the truth is many of the problems that blacks have stem from the lasting effects of slavery. House N**** and the field N**** syndrome, if you are not black, then you won't understand that statement. When are the stereotypes and programming of black people gonna end? People act as if black people have all these major issues.....Stop Generalizing!!!

This isn't a true statement about black women because when black women were in Africa we were the ones working together and keeping the household together. Black women have went through drastic changes since being in the U.S. Black women don't primarily hate each other or it's not that we can't stand each other, either. Crabs in a barrel describe people (of any color or race) who thrive on jealousy, envy, or hate. As a black woman, I can honestly say that some black women think that they're bold enough to step to anyone or anything about whatever because some are filled with jealousy, envy, and hate for whatever another person may have which they might want. I agree that this is what makes us black women look bad and I think we do need to improve and I am just the black woman to bring these things to light but I hope that women can put their anger to the side and listen to this important life lesson. Black women can work together as long as they put aside the anger, jealousy, envy, and hate aside. I do agree wholeheartedly that all black people or black women can't work together though. It's the ignorant ones. Not only is it black people, it's all ignorant people. Simply because they don't have the skills/knowledge to use towards a group effort. Or look at it this way, if they can hardly help themselves how in the hell can they help others. I love black people and I'll stick by them women and all.

Such a sad fact and don't let anyone make you think different. While they talk that sister crap and togetherness, there is nothing more lethal than for Black women to work together. Personally I stayed away from having any kind of work place relationship with any of the other Black women I worked with, I had no problem with relating with women of other races, so, so sad. There is constant bickering, talking about each other, you name it. But then again I have found that the more educated a Black woman is, she is less prone to what has plagued "us" in the past. So it is getting better because more of us are going to college or some type of education past high school, where these tendencies, which most of the time are learned in the home, are dismissed. Hopefully it will get better, I know I am pushing for it.

It seems to me many black people can't do anything together without someone getting shot or something stupid happening. I wouldn't say all black people or black women can't work together though. It's the ignorant ones. Not only is it black people, it's all ignorant people. Simply because they don't have the skills/knowledge to use towards a group effort. Being a woman, I can honestly say that most women, black, white, asian, latino, whatever they may be, most women can't work together. Because women, in general, are mean and catty and way too gossipy.

I know that there are a LOT of women who are not like this at all, but in general, it's hard to work with other women.

Black women in general just primarily hate on each. It takes us back to the says black people in general act like crabs in a barrel. We can't stand to see each other make it, and if they one of us make we want to be moochers. Me being a black young woman, it is hard, because i go to an all girl school that is predominantly white. There are only 6 black girls including myself and if I do well in something, the other black girls get jealous, give me mean looks, etc. I don't know what it is but it needs to cease, because it is makes the black women in the world trying to make something of themselves look bad.
