What I mean when I said share your life is not literally your life. I thought it's just a way for you to explain your answer by an example. Thanks!

Yes, because my current difficulties can not take away the joy that comes from knowing the Lord and salvation given to me through Christ Jesus.

I can feel joy when life is tough. I am sure I feel more joy at achieving a goal I've set with the odds against me then say someone who to achieve their goal only has to withdraw from their trust fund will feel.
I know I appreciate what I have more because of how tough it was to reach the goal. ie the sacrifices I made to get that new car the joy I feel when I look at it and know that no one helped me get it. only through hard work and going without was I able to get it.
I will feel joy in the knowledge that you understand what I am trying to say, after the struggle I have had trying to put my thoughts in a coherent statement...... by the way great question

Life is tough because the 'whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one (Satan the Devil)' plus the fact 'that all have sinned & falled short of the glory of God'.

Sometimes I struggle with trying to do what's right in God's eyes and having people make fun of you for being different, but everyday before I go to work, I sit down & pray to God through Jesus' name for His holy spirit to help me deal with any tribulations or trials that I may face that day. It really does help me.

Read Matthew 5:3-11 about what true happiness it and Matthew 6:31-34 about not be so anxious about what we are to eat, live, wear or sleep, but seeking to do God's will should be the top priorty in our lives.

There is a peace of mind that the Creator has promised to give you when you choose to place your life in harmony with His. Paul said "count it all joy" but he didn't say you would experience it as joy. The Peace of being in Harmony with YAHOSHUA is so much greater than the "blessings" the world can give, that I would not trade... Though I would often wish things were a bit different.

Yes you most certainly can. But to do that you must have reached a point in your life where you realize that God is going to bring you through whatever you experience, victoriously. Now that doesn't mean that you'll walk around cheering and totally ignoring your problem. But in spite of the problem you rest and refuse to fret for you know that God's will is best for you. It's very hard to explain until one has reached this point in life, and believe me, I have.

If you have God within, you will know and feel joy at all times, in all seasons, and I thank God for that in my life! We all go through difficult times but the bible tells us that in our weakness His strength is made perfect. 2 Corinthians 12: 9-10. If you read this and know Him, everything will be alright!

As you said everyone to its own. I believe you feel joy even in the toughest moments of your life. Joy for me is within and it comes in my religion. Tough life? We are all leading a tough life; no excuses, problems are progressing and way of living is decreasing, it happens. But the joy within, is the peace in yourself that dictates you that life can go on no matter what happens; in sickness, in poverty, at war, etc...

Why would I feel joy when life is tough. That doesn't make any sense. I feel a sense of dismay, and a sense of responsibility to do something to make things better. No, I'm not interested in sharing my life story, I have family and friends for that.

Yes. It's not always easy but there are joyful aspects to focus on, and when I'm fortunate enough to work my way "over there," I am capable of feeling joy. In addition, the rough times go away when I am able to do this.
