I've never seen any footage of chinchillas in their natural habitat and would like to know if any exists. I looked for David Attenboroughs email but didn't come across it.

In the wild, chinchillas can be found in the Andes alpine regions, but because they are an endangered species, they are not easily found.

Do you know that a mule is actually a cross between a horse and a donkey; well the same thing is true with chinchillas. Chinchillas are a cross between a rabbit and a rat.

They shelter under stuff. And if they get wet,they get wet.
