Start early and give yourself lots of time to write this paper.
Begin with a general outline of what you want to discuss and write down a rough summary of ideas relating to your topic of interest. Connect your ideas and develop a rough summary of how you'd like to organize the essay. Elaborate your ideas with examples, quotes, etc..
When you're writing your paper, focus on getting your ideas out onto the paper and worry about style and elegance later. After you have written your first draft, set the paper aside for a day, then go back to it and make lots of revisions. Get someone else to proof-read/critique your essay as well.
Also, if your college has a 'writing centre' be sure to book an appointment with them.
Best of luck.

Figure out what you want to discuss, first of all. You could write a rough outline of your main points, then expand them into paragraph form. After you have your body complete, you can write your introduction and conclusion to unify the essay.
Good luck.

Review your class notes and take the same opinion your instructor had if possible. It's cheesy.. it's lame.. it's the best way to get a good grade.
