Here are two ideas. Unless you have a "reaction" to wearing them (eg. you equate wearing tight bodysuits to homosexuality), they'll do a good job keeping you warm. I've worn both and it's no problem unless you're overweight.

1) Buy a "shorty", a neoprene wetsuit that zips up and covers from the neck to forearms to mid-thigh. They're made to keep you warm, and even if water leaks in, the neoprene holds in your body heat.

2) Buy a dive suit, also called a dive skin. In tropical places they're worn instead of wetsuits because of the temperature but they offer protection against jellyfish and the like. They're spandex catsuits made for swimming, covering you from neck to wrist to ankle. In a cool (15 to 20 celsius) swimming pool, they do a good job keeping you warm.

Hello,

Wearing a little bit of clothing like track pants and a (long-sleeved) T-shirt might work a little bit, but not nearly as good as a wetsuit. Besides, you would be very cold when you get out of the pool. Having said that, I am usually cold in the pool, until I start my exercise. Moving warms me up big time.

Try thermal underwear (not undie kind!) you can get them in singlets, long sleeved tops, shorts and pants. I know they keep me warm. Try to get some for jockey. And if you cold inside your own home try getting a warm dressing gown and some uggies.

Wet suits are for cold water but if you are just in cool water, you can get the dive skins. A bazillion times less hassle than a funky wet suit.
