I can't stand people like that!!! They are so arrogant and egotistical and self absorbed/obsessed!
It's not easy to deal with them. Basically if ask you a question and then tell you the answer, just calmly point out that they just asked you a question, and would they like to hear your response? Or, if they keep talking about themselves, I would just not show much interest, ie don't give them much eye contact or respond to them and eventually they will realise noone's really interested in them talking about their boring lives all the time. Then you might get a word in edgeways!

Daddy I think you are supposed to wait for them to stop talking. Consider what they said and then respond. The question is really being used as a door to tell you the answer to the question lol lol bog

sorry, i guess i'm one of those people. (here on answers)
i just think i need to explain my answer and hopefully by telling you how i dealt with it, am going through it, or my experience then it will help you in dealing with it.
i don't think i'm egotistical or just want to talk about myself, i personally get sick of some of these people who give you abrupt answers and leave it like that.

Just ignore them or tell them that you served time for murd*ring someone who was so self absorbed that it drove you to madness

LOL...People like that are rediculous... I have this friend who... LOL... just kidding... If they are that egocentric with their comments, then they most likey are not a good friend or companion. I personally would distance myself form someone like that. They only think about themselves.
