Have you ever noticed that when it snows, it seems like everything else is silenced?

Snow is excellent at absorbing sound waves, it's got lots of air in it which traps the sound. Hard surfaces such as earth, concrete etc cause the sound to bounce back up.

I'm waiting for it to snow here.

everywhere up or down the Western facet of Washington state could be heaven. yet you're able to like Bellingham, and places up north of Seattle, which, on a similar time as being laid returned, are somewhat greater conservative than Seattle or places south.
