Your statement doesn't make sense because you said "why do white people get mad when a rapper buys a chain for $80k but it's ok for a white person to spend $100K" on what?

That's a silly question, and if you are Mike Jones the rapper it doesn't surprise me lol. I hate the fact that the same rich white people that tried to destroy hip hop in the late 80's early 90's when the music was fresh, realistic, and positve are now making big money on mindless, destructive, and negative rap music today. I hate the fact that rich black people in music today seem oblivious to the lessons taught to us by the pioneers of hip hop music and have allowed it to become "pop cultured" and meaningless.

Nobody gives a damn about a chain dude.

Hip hop is dead. RIP

I could personally care less... I was reading this thing that Oprah had said on her website when she was discussing her weight loss and when she really got serious about it.. she said that she had bought herself a house as a gift to herself. If this didn't bother me (I wish I could afford just one house!) then why would anything else bother me. It might be irritating if someone bought something like that if they were like me and was barely getting by! My roomie always buys crap she can't afford. And.. I know people who have cars that are worth more than their houses! THAT is what I hate!

- Why the hell does anyone need a $80K chain? Sounds like someone is stuck on material possessions

I don' really give a crap what people buy but I do think anyone who spends that much money on a chain has more money than brains, black or white.

I don't think white people really care either way, but its surely wasteful to spend $80,000 simply on a chain

Spending that much money to me is outrageous, no matter who spends it. $80k would literally set me up for life.

Where do you get your info on white people? Why should we care what one millionare or another spends his money on.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but spending that much money on any jewelry seems crazy to me....but then again, I don't have a crazy amount of money to spend.

If you have it, do what you want with it, I would choose to do something else.
