Oh no it's the thing that will keep you playing! Without it there isin't really any point in even getting the game. Pressing buttons in rapid sucession with no fighting or plot...Yeah that aint fun. Dancing and getting an awesome workout is fun.

There is a game called Flash Flash Revolution, its free online as long as you make and account. You play the same way as Dance Dance Revolution but it's free and you use the keys. And you can challange people online, without paying a single cent.
