I received some clothes from my Grandma and they have yellow spots on them. I washed them and they are still there. I'm not sure if they are rust spots, stains from coffee or what. Any ideas??

I washed them in cold water and hung them to dry. I also tried a vinigar & dawn mixture and that didn't work.

Soak them in OxyClean for 2 days. It will remove the yellow stains. It's great stuff.

the yellow stains on your clothes are usually caused by iron and rust content in the water. go to the hardware store and they probably sell a product made to remove these stains from your clothes. people who have wells will use this in their washing machine, if the water is too hard . hope this helps.

Try washing with Borax. It's an all-purpose cleaner found in the laundry aisle. Whites come out whiter--I love it.

You can also try a bluing agent, but I would try the Borax first.

Either Tide-to-Go, or Oxyclean. These may or may not works since you washed them already.
