So everytime you are at your Yahoo page your search history is there? Is that what you are saying?
There is no 'x' to cancel it out. Or maybe go to add/remove programs and try from there. Or try customer live help at yahoo or IE live help and see what they tell you. Maybe there is an 800 number you can call. Look at the very bottom of your yahoo page where it says "Contact Us" and call the number and see where that gets you.

You should have a toolbar with back/forward on it. Look along this and find the button that looks like a clock. Click that, and it should get rid of the history.
If you dont have the toolbar, right click in the toolbar area and click standard buttons from the drop down list.
Is this what you meant?

Do this..... Click on my computer go to control panel click on Internet options and click CLEAR HISTORY. This is on an win 2000 pro machine but just find control panel and Internet options and the rest will be the same.

if you need to erase all search history click on properties on your internet exoplore or what ever internet deal you have you know instead of opening your web click on properties then a little small screen will pop up then youll see were its says delete click on it then it will pop up something else then just click delete on what ever you wanna delete such as tempory files ,cookies,forms or all visited web sites.i hope this helped you be suprised all the stuff that stores in youre computer every time you visit a site.

if you're using IE, Firefox, Opera or any other browsers. am sure there are options and preferences wher eyou can delete username , passwords, history page, temporary internet files, cookies, and searched on typing box... and even your favorites...
usually it is under TOOLS... or theres words options,.. etc,..
