I agree.
You can be born blind, you can be born deaf, you can be born with black hair, with brown eyes, you can be born ether a man or a woman, but what you do and who you love or hate, how you take sexual gratification is your choice. That is your God given free will.
Anyone who says any different is ether making a lame excuse for their own behavior or they are insulting 'gay' people in a very condescending way.

Love knows no gender, no barrier.
I don't think you have proof of killers who believe they are born killers. You have to look at people who kill each other over religion, oil, money, rape, and drugs. Explain these crimes for me. For those people who kill someone for greed or various reasons-are they born that way? No-they are not. For most cases, they think about what they are doing and know what they are doing. I doubt they thought about that stuff when they were kids.
Answer me this-why whould gay people want to be gay when we suffer so much from general public and don't receive equal rights? Why would we wish this upon ourselves? Because sometimes having that loved one so close to yiou-- that is all that matters in this world. It shouldn't matter if that loved one is the same gender or not-we are all human beings.
Have a great day. I hope this helps and blessed be!

first thing is first... by comparing sexual orientation to murder u ARE offending people. u are born gay... u are not born a murderer.. let me share the difference with you...(as a 3rd yr criminal justice major with a minor in psych)
people who kill people typically fall under two major categories. theres the crime of passion (murdering someone who hurt u in someway) and then there are ppl who murder bc something in their life whether socially or personally affected their ability to understand and follow right and wrong. (very broad)
now being gay... havent u ever noticed the body of a gay/ lesbian person? lesbians sometimes tend to have more male hormones than they should... its the same the other way around.. gays tend to have more female hormones than other men. dont get me wrong not ALL lesbians/gays have these differences but a majority do which leads people to believe that you are born gay or lesbian. and some ppl also believe that people without those hormonal differences are not really gay but just confused..
now a followup[ question by u may be.. "well how come there are a lot more homosexuals today and not so many in other countries" bc being gay is a lot more accepted today in america than it was in the centuries that passed and in other countries today. there were gay ppl they just didnt come out. do u think women didnt have opinions before they were allowed to vote?

This is just beyond stupid! Is being straight a choice? Homosexuality is something that some people are born with. They can't help how they feel sexually towards another gender. Just like you or I can't help how we fell towards another gender either. Now I'm straight but it really annoys the **** out of me when people say homosexuality is a choice...cause it is NOT! I didn't choose to be straight...I just am. I don't have sexual feelings towards the same gender like some people do. Don't be ignorant!
By the way I want to try and get the point across that being Homosexual and being a murder don't even come close to being the same thing! That just sounds idiotic!

you can't compare being gay with someone being a murderer.
you say you aren't trying to be offensive, but, sorry...you are!
we do not "choose" to be gay. I mean, really....even though more people have come to their senses and become more accepting, there is still a lot of rampant bigotry in this world (be it against sexual orientation, race, religion or culture). do you think we would "choose" to be someone that so many people like to hate/harass abuse and even sometimes murder?
I have never, ever been attracted to men. no man has ever hurt me. I don't hate men at all, I have many male friends. I've never been molested, abused or raped. I was born to straight parents (as we all are) who were married 29 years until my father passed away. I never knew anyone gay when I was growing up. I never woke up one morning and said "gee, I think I'll be a lesbian." all the lame, stereotypical reasons people claim "cause" us to become gay are nothing but that...stereotypes.
and, please tell us...when did you "choose" to be straight? or were you born that way?

I think some are born that way and can't help it (so many stories of how they knew as a child) and I think for some others it's a choice because it will please a man, or because it's in vogue, or maybe they were molested as a child by a same sex person (like Rock Hudson). Why is it any of our business anyway? If you were gay, you would know why. If you're not, just accept that others are and don't try to understand.
Same with killers - I saw Jeffrey Daumer interviewed and he seemed like such a nice guy to me. I wondered and wondered how this seemingly nice guy could have committed such horrendous acts of murder. I wanted to understand. But, it's not for me to figure out. It was not my life or my problem. Though, I have often heard that brains of serial killers are "wired" differently and they have no remorse or guilt.

I don't see how being gay can be compared to killing another human being.
Gay people don't hurt, kill or harm other people, they live their life as who they are.
A statement like this would be much more valid if you could actually find a reasonable comparison.

To stand in judgement over something you possibly couldnt understand is being insultive what difference is it to you if someone is gay or not your standing in judgement to just one trait of this person.Unless you want a sexual relationship with someone it is none of yours or anyones buisness.
Emotions is another reason used for killing because you are able to get angry doesnt that make you a possible killer

You think they would be put through all this persiqution that some people give them and be treated like outcast because they would enjoy this. Yes i believe they were born this way. They just don't wake up one day and say im going to enjoy being mistreated and talked about.

First of all, you can not compare murder to homosexuality. We're not killing people, we're loving them, no matter what their gender is.
But I'll be honest with you. I do think that being gay was my choice. I don't feel it was the wrong choice at all. I just feel more comfortable with women. But I do think that sometimes people don't feel like they were given a choice in the matter. Maybe they were, who knows, but the fact remains, that they don't feel the choice was theres. But you have a choice whether to accept it and let these people lead lives that they are happy with, or you could pretend that it's your responsibility to make these people feel like the person they are comfortabel being is wrong and make them feel like it's better for them to never fall in love with anyone than fall in love with someone the same gender as them. A guarantee you, your opinion of us is not going to do much but make us think you are an intollerant hypocrate. But you can keep trying all you want. It's just adding fuel to our fire. It's like when your parents tell you not to do something, it just makes you want to do it more just to show them that they can't control you.
