This statement was made in 1954. Read it, and tremble...
"The greatest sin of America is our disregard of God... God may allow Russia to destroy America... When I see a beautiful city such as New York, I also have a vision of crumbling buildings and dust. I keep having the feeling that God will allow something to fall on us in a way I don't anticipate unless we return to him."
Billy Graham in "Time" magazine, Vol. LXIV page 38, 1954.

No. In fact, I think some other countries have some bad karma coming to them. This list includes
1. Iran
2. Syria
3. Jordan
4. Pakistan
5. Saudi Arabia
The reasons these countries are listed above for having bad karma are for any combination of the following:
1. Empowering global terrorism
2. Developing Nuclear Weapons
3. Falsely inflating the price of crude oil
4. Actually thinking they pose a threat to the West
5. Flying planes into civilian structures.
US is not perfect. When you compare the United States to what occurs in the rest of the world, including the corrupt United Nations, we look like the only glimmer of hope left in this world.

Nothing on your list is new. Governments have been doing those things since time began. Did you forget all the Egyptian pharoahs that wiped out their predecessors monuments to change history? How about the lies and deceit of the Nazis misleading the German people? How about one King/Queen after the other changing the country's religion to suit himself? Nothing new under the sun!

It was a good idea when it started. Congress has totally F-ed it up since then. Originally, it was voluntary and had an option for private investment (sound familiar?). Over the years, Democratic Congresses have deep-sixed the original plan and made it into what we know and love today. Jimmy Carter put the last nail in its coffin when he allowed illegal immigrants (who haven't paid a dime into the system) to draw social security benefits. When you have to pay out more money than you take in, guess what? you run out of money.

Sounds like you are saying all Americans were resposible for these things. Karma's more dealt out on an individual basis.

Karma has nothing to do with it and that first answer is a good example of why we have this trouble now. IE the its not my fault syndrome.

I'm not sure about all that you said, but I think we stirred up a huge hornet's nest in the middle east that was humming along just fine on their own until we hit it with a big stick. And yes, we will get stung!!!

Please tell me you are not an American.
The same freedom to have Christians in our government is where you have your freedom to believe in karma.
I suspect you are French. And you will have to read some history to understand what I mean by that, but it refers to your statements about Vietnam and Iraq.
