I have a friend who lived in Phoenix and she loved it...I have a friend who lives in Scottsdale and she loves it. I know of 2 different families (both from Wisconsin) who went to AZ for vacation and when they came home, they quit their jobs, sold their houses and moved to AZ!

If you like dust and the feeling that you're living in an oven most of the year, yea. It stinks. Bugs galore, snakes too. Even the water in the pool is too hot to cool off in.

Umm no.. Dust bowl in summer, no breezes. Too dry and way too many hispanics. Makes you feel like you are in old town Mexico.
BUT
Love the mall in Scotsdale.
