When the corpse decomposes and just a skeleton remains, do silicone or saline implants just stick to the bones?

. . .they live on :o) . Actually, their life span is finite, too, and after a while will start to break down as well. However, implants such as metal rods, plastic joints, etc. have a tendency to be permanent due to their material make up. They can be expected to remain with the rest of the bodily remains that do not decompose.

They aren't biodegradable so it's important that everyone with breast implants checks the "I'm a donor" box on their driver's license.

There are thousands of people in dire need of aritficial breast implant donations every single day!

One time in the gross anatomy lab, one of the cadavers had implants. Everyone was surprised when they got to them. They were nice round bag type things filled with clear liquid. The students who had her just stuck them down by her legs while disecting her chest. She will be buried with them I guess. The cadaver obviously cared about herself, she had red painted nails and bleach blonde hair.

I think you should ask your doctor...but they dont decompose like your body does because they are not a natural part of your body..they will remain in your coffin just like anything else, jewelry, clothes, pins in your bones due to joint surgery etc....they do not stick to your bones---are they stuck to your bones now???

Who said "You cant take it with you? LOL In this case you can! LOL Im taking mine with me---I PAID FOR THEM!!! LOL

They would eventually dry out and crack but would not decompose at the same rate as flesh would.Look at plastic bags they last forever in the dump.

i would assume they just stay there until the silicone degrade

a friend of mine got hers bigger and she got to keep the ones the doc took out.

Now when she has company over she always asks them if they want to see her breast implants

I guess so yeah, good question and it raises another one with me.

What will happen to Michael Jackson when he dies ? lol

I've heard it takes 100 years to break plastics down so how long will it take him to decompose?

They never get to the grave, the mortician collects them and sells
them to the highest bidder on EBay.
