No. You need a DVD+RW

No there is no way to do this if you have the format correct. A DVD + R is only burnable if you have a DVD burner that is compatible with the format you could use a DVD+RW or DVD-RW. If your burner works with these types of formats then the software that comes with the burner will have an option to format the DVD and that will take all the data off and allow you to burn new data on it.

you cant Erase DVD+R its not erasable the ++ Means recordable and u can only erase DVD+RW or DVD-RW or a cd with an RW on it +R is only read only

No. Not on a +R. For that, you need a DVD+RW.

Nope what you need is a DVD-RW...DVD-R's are for one time use only....
