My best gift would have been on 38th birthday, first let me explain that my husband and I were married on my birthday, so it is also our anniversary. We had been married 20 years and we had two daughters. My husband had 22 long stemmed red roses delivered to me at work with a card that read.....One rose for each year we have been together and one for each child you have given me.My husband has given me diamonds, a car and many expensive gifts since we have meet. But this really meant the most to me because it came from his heart and soul.

The first year we were dating...he was in school and didn't have any money. He bought a frame and put our picture in it and wrote on it. Then we went out to dinner at a restaurant I had always wanted to try....he used his student discount card and we only had the main course and water, he made dessert at home for me. Let me tell you, it was the UGLIEST decorated cake I'd ever seen, but I knew how hard he worked and how much he wanted to impress me.
Still have that picture in that frame. With a picture of the (did I mention hideous?) cake right next to it.
The best gifts always come from the heart.

He bought me a cake, card and gift, but the best thing was that he stayed home from work to be with me. He was a little sick, so he didn't lie completely.
It was so special because my husband never misses work!

My husband never bought me birthday presents, I bought my own. ANd the best one was an oil painting of a little boy riding a carousel horse:)

From my wife she stays home with our 2 year old they made me a card because we didn't have any money but it was the first thing her and my daughter mad for me. loved it

Hmmm good question.... He got me my house this last year and i really love it!!!! I love everything he gets me though as it comes from his heart.
