The election is in 2008.

I would vote for her over any Republican except Roscoe Bartlett.

However, I don't think Hillary is the best of candidates. And it has nothing to do with her husband or Monica. I think this entire Monica thing was blown up by media and Republicans to discredit Bill and the Democrats.

Hillary does not seem to be for the common person. To me she is a plastic candidate. All sound bite and no substance. Jim Kunstler's statement reflects my feelings about her "her speech was all medium and no message". If she were cake dough, she would be all batter. If she were a CD, she'd be a blank CD. She does not want us all to be Americans, instead of Red and Blue Americans, like Barack Obama does. She does not address the reality of two Americas, as John Edwards does. And she has no experience in energy-related matters, unlike former Secretary of Energy John Richardson.

She dresses in a plastic manner too, with typical business dress. She should dress in blue jeans and a T-shirt with an anti-war slogan on it; more like Cindy Sheehan. Then we might see her as real. And I agree with Jim Kunstler that she has a Wal-Mart smile.

Further, her presence in the Senate is a lie, just like Bobby Kennedy's was. She is NOT from New York until it was convenient for her career to be so. She's from Arkansas; if she were Senator from that state, she'd earn more of my respect.

I am hoping that Barack Obama or Bill Richardson gets the nomination, especially since the next President is likely to be a Crisis President, similar to Washington, Lincoln, and FD Roosevelt.

If she was running against Bush, sure! It is a shame that some people don't view the democrats candidates as strong. Not only do we need strong candidates but voters as well. After the past eight I really do not See why anyone in their right mind would be Republican, unless you net over 500k a year and could care less about anyone even yourself.

Not unless I want the country to go into ruins. She is way too liberal for even democrats. Even President Bush is better than her. I think I may have to leave the country if she becomes president.

I want a real pair of balls running this country, not a pair of strapped on ones!!!!!!!!! As far as I am concerned she already was president when her husband was in office. Everybody knows who wore the pants in that family then!!!! Nothing has changed and nothing was good with her running her husbands presidency why should it be any different now???????????? Besides if she does win she will be known as the First women to be President; plus the ugliest..........

I don't understand why people are still scared of successful women after all these years.
Why is she considered a power-hungry *****? If she was man, no one would call her a power-hungry bastard?
This double standard is getting really old, people!

Hell No! I don't even like her husband but at least I can tolerate him! She is just a power-hungry *****!

NO! She doesn't have near enough experience and she's to arrogant to realize it.
