Jimmy Carter hands down. He forced the US to sign onto the nuclear nonproliferation treaty. He also got egypt and israel to make peace. And he's still at it trying to help humanity as a whole.

The problem we are all facing is the constant BS from all parties stating that when they get in everything will be OK.
Then they do as they please spending money on war material
Mars probes, and rovers, and Wars that we have no business being involved with, all the time leaving all our brothers and sisters hanging out to dry in New Orleans. and serving no one but the special political groups. like countries in the middle east.
take a look around someone better do something quick or there will be no country to have any kind of leader with.

If we looked at the presidency like a large business .
we would hire a president and if he was Good for all,
he would stay. in office for as long as we wished, no special interest groups no kind of party needs or wants just a leader for the people the governors could run their own states but under stricter rules and a more cost sharing way.
but the problem is we get an idiot of person and we are required to put up withthem for four or more years.
my way he had better do a good job or he is out on his rear end.
