I'm acquainted with pretty much everyone, including the popular kids, but I never get invited to do anything with anyone and I don't have close friends.

I was pretty shy in high school and use to wonder what in the world the kids found to talk about. It wasn't until my senior year that I started going to basketball games and other things like field trips and clubs...I was so sorry that it took me so long to figure things out...I should have started joining in during my freshman year...lost out on three years of fun and companionship. I had an aunt that would complain when she went to a new church that no one talked to her. When I asked her if she said anything to anyone the answer was always no. Relationships take two. Mmm

I know all the smart nerdy kids really well cause I used to be like that, and I know all the "popular" kids cause I'm on varsity football and track. I also happen to know everyone else in between...
Recently I met some new kids and we're becoming really close friends. Before that I really didn't mind it, but I know where you're coming from, it seems weird to start becoming really close friends with someone you've just kinda known for a long time.
Hopefully eventually you'll meet some people to become close friends with

yea, thats a bit like me, everyone knows everyone in my school, and the chavs (who think they are the popular kids) smoke and go to partys, but its really ironic that they think me and my friends are goody two shoes because we do like latin and ancient greek and are good at school, but at the weekend, we get hammered and smoke and run around the town talking to random people in the town in the middle of the night, while we are completely out of it. they recently found out that i smoke, but they still have no idea of what we get up to outside school, and i hope they never do. lolz

well iif your friiends with a lot of people just hang out wiith them at school......they probably never iinvite you to partys or to let you come to theiir house because you don't open up to them and they just think of you as someone who is theiir.....but never really lets herself go wiith the flow....trust me it works!!
