Will Pentium D Mobos Upgrade?

Will Pentium D mobos updat there bios for Core Duo 2 i dont know if my bkard is capable of handling a CD2 because of power but my model number is GA-8N-SLI Pro its a gigabyte.

The last BIOS update for the GA-8N-SLI Pro on Gigabyte's website is version: F7 dated : 2006/03/16

That is almost a year old, so I really doubt they will release one for Core 2 Duo support.

I believe the voltage regulators on the motherboard cannot produces the lower voltages the Core 2 Duo requires, cause if it did they would have released an update by now.

I think it will upgrade i am not sure>
