My bf is a gypsy, I know barely anything about his customs, traditions, etc. We have been together for a year and he has not introduced me to his family or had me over his home. (He lives with his parents) I need to know honestly if there is any future for our relationship or if he is just using me and going to end up with a gypsy girlfriend or wife. Are gypsy men allowed to date from other cultures? I don't want to waste any more time on this relationship if theres no hope of it working out. If anyone would be willing to talk via email please let me know. Thanks for any serious answers.

There might be a couple of reasons he does not want to take you home. His parents might not be happy he has a non-gypsy girlfriend. I am white and my gilrfriend is Chinese, and it took a while to convince her parents that we're going to be fine. Second, maybe in his culture if he introduces the girl to the family that implies there is something very serious and you will get married. Maybe he just does not feel there yet.

This is a sample from Wikipedia:
The Roma People (singular Rom; sometimes Rroma, Rrom) or Romanies, sometimes called "Romany Folk" in the United Kingdom, often referred to as Gypsies or Gipsies, are a diverse ethnic group who live primarily in Southern and Eastern Europe, Western Asia, Latin America, the United States and the Middle East.
Worldwide, there are an estimated 8 to 10 million Romanies. The largest population of Romanies is found on the Balkan peninsula; however, significant numbers also live in the Americas, the former Soviet Union, Western Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

A Gipsy Family -
The traditional Roma place a high value on the extended family. Virginity is essential in unmarried women. Both men and women often marry young; there has been controversy in several countries over the Roma practice of child marriage. Roma law establishes that the man’s family must pay a dower to the bride's parents.
...Clothes for the lower body, as well as the clothes of menstruating women are washed separately...
Childbirth is considered impure, and must occur outside the dwelling place. The mother is considered impure for forty days. Death is considered impure, and affects the whole family of the dead, who remain impure for a period of time.
In North America, the word "gypsy" is often misunderstood as a reference to lifestyle or fashion, and not to the Roma ethnicity.
Anyway...there's heaps of info on the website.
