In the food service industry "Fast Food Restaurants" or "Quick Service Restaurants" refers to restaurants that serve food RELATIVELY quickly with little to no table service. The term "fast food" refers to any food sold at one of these restaurants, not the type of food itself, so anything from a salad to a hamburger to a pizza can be "fast food" or not - depending on where you get it. So MOST Pizza Hut pizza is is indeed fast food, because it's prepared as quickly as possible and most locations have limited table service or none at all. Note: If you get something from Denny's (for instance) and order it to go it is not considered "fast food" because even though you didn't use the table service it is offered by the restaurant. Edit: Well you have to serve food to be considered a "fast food" restaurant. I've never been to a Jamba Juice but if they do sell food then yes they're "fast food" if not then they would be considered a Juice Bar. And you are correct about Round Table. "Fast Food" is a way of preparing,/serving/selling the food, not a type of food.

No, I don't consider it fast food like Burger King or McDonalds or Taco Bell, etc. Pizza places deliver and the ones that have sit down service will most of the time sit you like a real restaurant and take your order in your seat. Fast food places don't do that.

well that depends on your defintiion of fast food. how long it takes to cook or the quality of the ingredients? it depends where you get the pizza from. pizza hut's pizza is filled with garbage and takes short time to cook, therefore i see it as being fast food. Bostons pizza has better quality ingreidients and takes longer to cook, therefore i see it as being somewhat normal food. homemade pizza is not fast food. sorry bro, to many variables to asnwer your question

yes and no. Depends if you purchase a proper italian made pizza with the correct crust and base and with fresh toppings, lovingly hand made, or you purchase something manufactured from Pizza hut etc, or frozen pizza's made by corporate companies who fill the pizza with unknown food products (disguised as meat)

yes it is considered fast food nowadays. That's because of its availability such as home delivery. It is high in fat and sodium. Homemade pizza would be much better for you because you can control the ingredients and reduce the fat and sodium.

It should be. In the U.S, it definitely is. In Italy its not, only because they make it much healthier than they do over here.
