Is it just one breast or both? It could be caused by trauma--did you bump into anything? Or, there could be a medical issue and you should consult your doctor, especially if there is a lump or mass of any sort. If both breasts are hurting, then is there any chance you could be pregnant?

Have you been playing with your breast excessively?

Not having sex during the last week, or at all? If you have had sex, you could be pregnant, even though you've had your period. It is possible to have a period, although rare, after you've gotten pregnant.

They also might just be growing. You should post pictures next time so we can help better. LOL

If you're young, like still in your teens, it may be a growing pain. It happens sometimes.

I think it would be a good idea to schedule a visit with your doctor, just to rule out a cyst, or an infected mammary gland. Hope you feel better soon.
