You PC is infected with adware. Use these scans to remove it. Both are free and safe to use.

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.

If I am understanding you correctly, and you are saying that your SECURITY PROGRAM is giving you a message, then you should listen to it and debug your program. Some of these bugs can actually empty money from your bank accounts, if you do online banking. Take these bugs seriously; some bugs can only hurt your computer, but some of the nastier ones can hurt YOU!

if you go onto lavasoft or download.com, then you can get the free addition of Ad_aware SE personal. every time you finish on your PC, turn off your Internet and run the program, it will remove any spy ware that has got onto your PC, the reason i say to turn your Internet off when running it, is because if the Internet is still on when running any spy ware remover, the spy ware goes out one end and comes in on another. every now and then it will want to give you an update of the software, then is the only time you should have the Internet on when running it

Go to the start button, control panel, security center, then on the left side click "change the way security center alerts me". I don't really understand your question, maybe it's the answer.

Try downloading AdAware from http://www.download.com and installing, then running the software.

It should correct your problem.
